Zenith Defy Classic Titanium Skeleton 41 on Bracelet ref. 95.9000.670/78.M9000 – 2021, Box & Papers

Introduced at the end of the 1960s, the Zenith Defy was designed by none other than the legendary Gerald Genta. In addition to its innovative case design – courtesy of Genta’s signature magic – the Defy boasted features such as shock and water resistance, which prompted its nickname, The Safe Of Time. Its unique aesthetic resonated with the changing tastes of the free-spirited 70s, so the watch proved immensely marketable.
In 2017, the Defy collection was revived to critical acclaim, and it has only grown in popularity since. The watch on offer here – the Defy Classic – dates to 2021 and reinterprets the original concept from a contemporary, even futuristic perspective. Its faceted tonneau-shaped case, although not designed by Genta, feels like something he could have easily come up with. It is fashioned out of titanium and utilizes a combination of fine hairlines and mirror-polished surfaces, which further enhance its ultra-modern look. The skeletonized dial is reminiscent of an exposed supercar engine, and the movement it displays performs just as well, if not better than one. The 27-jewel in-house Elite 670SK beats at 28.000 A/h and boasts a power reserve of 50 hours.
Our offering is in very good condition and comes in an almost full set of boxes and papers with only the inner travel box missing from it.

Covered by manufacturers international warranty (started in 09.2021).
