This special edition of the Black Bay marks a one-of-a-kind collaboration between Harrods and Tudor, and it possesses certain characteristics that link it to the famous Knightsbridge department store. Of course, its design has been treated with respect befitting of its history and heritage, but its color palette has been dramatically altered. Here, the bezel comes in Harrods’ iconic shade of green, whereas the minute track, hands, and indices present a golden hue that contrasts the black dial and complements the bezel. The balanced 41 mm case is covered in a fine satin finish – as is the riveted three-link bracelet – with its surfaces conjoined by knife-sharp beveled edges. As far as light diffusion is concerned, the BB Harrods Exclusive easily rivals Rolex’s best finishing work.
Last but not least, ticking confidently behind the solid caseback is Tudor’s venerated in-house movement – the caliber MT5602.
