The 16610LV Kermit was released in 2004 to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the archetypal Submariner. It evolved several times throughout its production run until it gave up its place to the 116610LV Hulk in 2010. All versions of the 16610LV Kermit are characterized by a black Maxi dial adorned with applied hour markers and surrounded by a green bezel insert, while the rest of the watch follows the design of the 16610 Date to the letter.
The watch is powered by the caliber 3135, which was first announced by Rolex in 1988 and has remained in production since. If that doesn’t tell you everything you need to know about Rolex, we don’t know what does.
