Rolex Daytona Cosmograph Black dial ref. 116500LN – 2018, Full set, Never polished

The Rolex Daytona is widely regarded as an icon in the world of luxury watches, and it’s not at all difficult to see why. The model offers a truly timeless design with superb underlying functionality and is backed by a vibrant racing heritage. What’s more, the second-hand market says you couldn’t sell your stainless steel Daytona at a loss even if you wanted to, so you could tell your wife that it was an investment.

The Daytona Cosmograph ref. 116500LN features a central hour, minute, and chronograph seconds hand, as well as a small seconds indicator at 6 o’clock. The chronograph complication is accurate to 1/8th of a second and sports a 30-minute counter at 3 o’clock and a 12-hour counter at 9 o’clock. Thanks to its Oyster case and screw-down pushers and crown, the watch is water-resistant up to 100 meters. One of the stand-out features on this reference would have to be the Cerachrom bezel, which gives it a distinctly retro vibe. Together with the diamond-polish finish, the properties of the ceramic material make it virtually scratchproof and impervious to color degradation. Another design update comes in the form of three white rings around the subsidiary dials – a feature that gives the watch face a very Panda-esque look.
The ref. 116500LN is powered by the Chronometer Certified in-house caliber 4130.

Our offering is in very good condition, but shows some hairpins all around – it has never been polished, doesn’t have any dings or deep scratches so we decided to leave that to the future owner. Comes in a full set of boxes and papers.
