Raymond Weil Freelancer Chronograph 42 PVD ref. 7730-BK-05207 – Full set

Raymond Weil is a well-known and popular, albeit somewhat underrated Swiss brand that got its start in 1976. Today, the manufacturer is widely recognized for offering quality that remains unsurpassed at the price point, which in turn has earned it a legion of devoted followers. As the saying goes, affordable doesn’t have to mean cheap, and few watches embody that sentiment as well as the one on offer here.
This rendition of the RW Freelancer Chronograph comes equipped with a classically-proportioned PVD-coated 42 mm stainless steel case reminiscent of the chronograph cases of the 1960s. Unlike them, however, it features a signed screw-in crown. The dial, as you can see, complements the latter’s color and readily discloses the source of inspiration behind its design. Everything about it – from the subdial and date layout to the red flourishes and centrally-oriented Arabic numerals – draws from the aesthetics of luxury sportscars. As you’ve probably figured out based on the blu-ish sheen in our photos, the dial is protected by a flat sapphire crystal AR-coated on both sides, which allows the watch to maintain a sleek profile and adds a lively touch of color under certain angles.
Inside, proudly displayed by the sapphire caseback, the excellent RW 5000 is ticking steadily away.
Our offering is in good condition – please check the provided photos, comes in a full set of boxes and papers, and is outfitted with a generic leather strap with the original PVD-coated butterfly clasp. Ticking per specs.

The watch is covered by 1 year of limited warranty from ChronoTimepieces.
