Founded in 1917 under the name Schlup and Co, RADO didn’t really take off until the 1950s, when it released its infamous Golden Horse line, which exploded its popularity in Europe and Asia. Today, RADO is part of the SWATCH conglomerate, which has its positives – like the fact that they have access to high-quality ETA movements – but means they don’t get marketed too well as the folks over at SWATCH are too busy remaking Longines classics and selling Tissot reissues to teenagers. Those in the know, however, don’t need a billboard to tell them what they are well aware of – that RADO is one of the best modern brands out there!
The Sintra XXL follows one of the brand’s more recognizable case and bracelet architectures but combines them with a gorgeous diamond-set dial. More specifically, 431 black diamonds adorn the dial, complemented by a platinum-tone ceramic case & bracelet. The latter’s tapered design ensures that the 44.6 mm x 34.8 mm watch wears comfortably and elegantly, and the pressure-fitted caseback lends it a 30-meter water resistance.
Our offering is in mint condition, and it comes in a full set of boxes and papers.
Covered by a limited warranty of 1 year, starting on the date of purchase.
