Whatever Porsche does, Porsche does well – that’s why it’s been decades since the German manufacturer last needed an introduction. This timepiece proves it by effortlessly fusing automotive and horological design, resulting in what is, in our opinion, a work of art.
The watch makes no attempt to hide the source of its inspiration, instead featuring a dial that emulates the layout of a dashboard and a skeletonized titanium case reminiscent of a supercar’s exterior. It measures a balanced 42 mm in diameter and has a thickness of just 15 mm, which ensures an ergonomic under-the-cuff fit.
Under the hood – and behind the display caseback – a chronograph movement based on the Sellita cal. SW500-1 is confidently ticking away.
