Omega Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch Apollo XI 30th Anniversary ref. 3560.50 – Full set, NASA Medalion

The 1999′ Apolo XI 30th Anniversary Speedmaster Professional is a stealthy limited edition, which appeals to both hardened Omega aficionados and casual fans of the Speedmaster’s history. At first glance, it seems to be a regular Moonwatch, but flipping it over reveals a special caseback, which announces that this limited edition (9999 pieces) commemorates the Moon landing on the 21st of July 1969 at 2:56 GMT. It also features Buzz Aldrin’s famous words, which he relayed upon landing on the Moon: “Hello Houston, Tranquility Base here, the Eagle has landed.” Unlike most Limited Edition Speedmasters, this one features no references to its rarity other than the caseback. Behind it, the manually-wound in-house cal. 1861 is ticking accurately.
Our offering is in excellent condition, comes in a full set of boxes and papers (including the commemorative NASA coin), and is outfitted with its original reference 1498 bracelet with type 840 end links.

The watch is covered by 1 year of limited warranty from ChronoTimepieces.
