In 2005, Omega launched its Planet Ocean line with its extensive maritime legacy in mind, but the collection was more than a mere tribute – it was, and still is, a worthy continuation of the brand’s dive watch heritage.
The Seamaster Planet Ocean 600M comes equipped with a familiar 42 mm stainless steel case, whose aggressive design is emphasized by a mix of fine hairlines and smooth, mirror-like surfaces. The textured dial remains faithful to the Omega dials from many decades ago, showcasing an excellent balance between information markers and empty space. It features a stealthy date display at 3 o’clock and is adorned with Super-LumiNova indices. The double broad arrow hands are well defined and generously proportioned, which makes for a distinctively retro look.
The watch also features a unidirectional ceramic bezel filled with liquid ceramic and Super-LumiNova. Thanks to its helium escape valve and screw-down crown and caseback, the PO is water-resistant up to 600 meters (2000 feet). Inside, the beautiful in-house caliber 8500 is ticking per spec. The display caseback proudly presents this marvel of Swiss horological engineering.
Our offering is in excellent condition and is outfitted with its OEM Planet Ocean bracelet. The set includes the original box, the operational manual, and the pictogram card.
