OMEGA takes its maritime legacy very seriously, and rightly so – ever since the Seamaster was introduced in 1948, the brand has been at the very forefront of deep-water timekeeping and sporty-yet-dapper aesthetics. As a 60th Anniversary tribute to one of three Seamasters released in 1957, this Seamaster 300 follows the design of the emblematic ref CK2913 to the letter! It features much of the iconography of its predecessor, such as the Naïad symbol on the crown, which back in ’57 marked the watch’s exceptional water resistance, as well as the unmistakable Seahorse on the caseback. Just like the original, all three watches in the 1957 Trilogy blend mirror-polished and hairline-finished surfaces to a spectacular effect, and the same is true for the three-link bracelet, which has been upgraded for versatility and comfort and features a retro-style OMEGA logo on the clasp. The dial also mirrors that of the CK2913, showcasing a tropical texture and vintage color palette. Its hour markers are slightly burrowed to allow filling with Super-LumiNova.
