Named after the event that gave birth to the very Universe itself, Hublot’s Big Bang collection is a treasure trove of stellar timepieces. The model on offer here, as you can see, is hardly an exception.
The Unico 45 is a bulky, easy-to-read watch, which looks a bit like a futuristic tank and feels almost as empowering on the wrist as piloting one would. Unsurprisingly, it’s as well-constructed as it is masterfully finished, following the unmistakable Hublot design language that earned the brand its cult-like following. What’s more, it employs two of the most cutting-edge materials used in watchmaking today – ceramic for the bezel and titanium for the case – and proudly showcases its inner workings via a skeletonized dial adorned with luminescent and Arabic and stick indices. The display caseback, meanwhile, allows an alternative vista of the caliber HUB 1242 – one that makes it easy to appreciate its neat (if somewhat utilitarian) decoration.
Our offering was just polished per OEM specs and is in very good cosmetic condition, shows minimal wear on the outer rim of the dial in form of some dots (pitting). It comes in a full set of boxes and papers and is outfitted with its original strap.
