Franck Muller might be one of the younger brands in the world of Haute Horlogerie, but they’ve already achieved a level of success few other brands can boast.
When watchmaker Franck Muller and Vartan Sirmakes, then a case maker, started their company in 1991, the two men agreed that it would specialize in watches that render historical complications in modern and spectacular ways. The aesthetic side of their work was of equal importance to them, so the designs the duo came up with were just as exciting as what lay underneath. Today, their Curvex case architecture has become as emblematic as those of the Cartier Tank, the Reverso, the Panerai Luminor, and even – some say – the Royal Oak.
The Conquistador on offer here is, without a shadow of a doubt, among the most luxurious interpretations of the Cintrée case. Not only does it incorporate a myriad of high-quality aftermarket diamonds, but it is fashioned out of solid 18K Yellow Gold. It also features several of the brand’s defining visual (and functional) staples, such as the classy cathedral-style hands, the circular date display at 6 o’clock, and the breath-taking relief dial. The latter features the iconic Muller numerals arranged in a center-facing manner, also fashioned from Gold. Since it is curved along its length and width, the crystal was shaped by hand into the perfect fit, giving the watch a sleek, smooth profile. Inside, behind the brushed caseback, the automatic caliber FM 2800 is confidently ticking away.
Our offering comes in a full set of boxes and papers and is outfitted with its OEM bracelet, which is also made of gold and covered in fine diamonds. Serviced in 2020 and ticking perfectly.
The watch is covered by 1 year of limited warranty from ChronoTimepieces.
