Established in 1955, Montres Corum Sàrl, commonly referred to as Corum, has become synonymous with high-quality limited edition watches. Unlike most attempts at the Limited Edition business model, Corum has not only succeeded but has garnered critical acclaim along the way. This success is attributed to the unique aesthetic and bold design of its watches, which draw inspiration from a myriad of sources, including sporting events, historical figures, and mythical creatures.
The Admiral line—to which the watch on offer here belongs—celebrates the brand’s ties to the prestigious Admiral’s Cup regatta while simultaneously showcasing its devotion to compelling watchmaking.
Indeed, the AC-One is captivating in more ways than one. It embraces a refined design with a well-proportioned 45 mm diameter, ensuring a complementary fit on wrists of any size. Inspired by the Admiral’s Cup regatta, it sports transferred nautical flags on its inner bezel, as well as applied luminous indices and skeletonized hands atop the white dial. The fine pattern of the dial serves as the perfect backdrop for its symmetrical layout, and its contrasting colorway suits the detailed architecture of the glistening steel that surrounds it.
Inside, proudly showcased by the transparent caseback, the caliber CO 132 is ticking confidently away.
Our offering is in very good condition, comes in a full set of boxes and papers, and is outfitted with a superb RubberB aftermarket strap.
