Description
This Bovet is dated to the mid-late 40s. It has the Landeron 48 movement in it, in superb condition, recently serviced – cleaned, oiled and polished. The chronograph functions work correctly, resets perfectly and the buttons are tight. The case and the back have been only slightly polished to keep the vintage taste and not overpolish. The dial has some nice patina on it and looks mesmerizing – black tachymeter, red telemeter and blue minutes graduated indications printed on the dial, two chronograph registers – constant seconds at 9 o’clock and minutes counter at 3 o’clock. Original magnificent shade of blue hands for hour/minutes and the central chronograph. Original crown and overall everything genuine vintage Bovet Fleurier watch. The strap is a brand new Hirsch Kansas with a generic buckle that matches the watch color.
