Carl F. Bucherer is a Swiss watch company founded in 2001 under Bucherer Montres SA. In 2007, Bucherer Montres acquired Techniques Horlogères Appliquées (THA), a producer of watchmaking complications that worked with many manufacturers, including Breguet, Cartier, Franck Muller, Bucherer & others, and established Carl F. Bucherer Technologies SA (CFBT) – . This lead to the company’s first in-house movement, the CFB A1000, which was unveiled at Baselworld in 2008 and received the “Golden Balance/Special Technology Prize” from Uhrenmagazin in 2009.
Today Carl F. Bucherer is a well known luxury watch brand that focuses on producing high-end men’s and women’s watches. The company has a presence in several major watch markets around the world, and is committed to expanding its brand globally.
