Bvlgari
Bvlgari, also known as Bulgari, is a luxury goods company founded in Rome in 1884 by Greek silversmith Sotirios Voulgaris. The company initially sold a variety of goods, including silver objects, antiques, and jewelry, and later focused on high-end jewelry. In the 1920s, Bvlgari began producing wristwatches, incorporating the Art Deco style that was dominant at the time. In the 1940s, Bvlgari introduced wristwatches in the form of coiled gold serpents and the Tubogas bracelet, which was inspired by industrial design and resembled a woven metal gas pipe (thus the name). In the 1960s and 1970s, Bvlgari gained international fame and continued to innovate with bold chromatic combinations of precious and colored stones and a focus on “wearability” in jewelry. In 1975, Bvlgari launched the BVLGARI ROMA digital wristwatch, and in 1977, it released the BVLGARI BVLGARI watch, which featured the brand’s logo as the prominent decorative element. In 2020, Bvlgari was acquired by LVMH (Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton), further solidifying its position as a leader in the luxury watch market.
Today, Bvlgari is known for its luxury watches, jewelry, and other luxury goods, and has a presence in major markets around the world.
