The Ulysse Nardin Maxi Marine Diver Black Sea is a 45.8 mm steel diver with the case and bezel fully coated in matte black vulcanized rubber, a process that bonds the material directly to the metal. Rose gold elements appear on the bezel graduation, hands, and certain printed dial details, which creates a clear contrast against the all-black surface. The black dial has a wave texture with applied hour markers filled with blue luminous material, and the skeleton hands in rose gold carry blue luminous tips at their ends. At 12 o'clock there is a power reserve indicator with a blue hand; at 6 o'clock a small seconds sub-dial and a magnified date window share the same position. The movement is the UN-26 automatic caliber, COSC chronometer certified, beating at 28,800 vph with a 42-hour power reserve and finished with a ruthenium rotor. The strap is black rubber with a wave pattern and two integrated black ceramic elements engraved with the brand name. This is a limited and numbered edition of 250 pieces worldwide.
