Tudor Black Bay 39 Fifty-Eight Silver ref. M79010SG-0001 – Mint condition. 2021, Full set

Ever since it made its debut at Basellworld 2012, the Black Bay has been one of the most popular dive watches on the market, and it’s not difficult to see why. Not only is it an exceptional all-rounder, but it is also backed by an impressive heritage that traces its roots to non-other than Rolex. At the same time, it comes in a much more accessible price range, which makes it an excellent gateway to the world of luxury watches.

The Fifty-Eight Silver gets its name from the year that saw the release of Tudor’s first diver’s watch – 1958. Made to honor the aesthetics of the reference 7924 “Big Crown”, it comes in a 39 mm case fashioned out of 925 Silver and topped by a Taupe aluminum bezel. The dial’s color palette mirrors the insert’s color, while the iconic snowflake hands and luminescent dot, baton, and triangle indices provide contrast as well as infallible legibility. The case is mostly covered in fine hairlines, with beveled edges separating its adjacent surfaces, resulting in a finishing that rivals Rolex in terms of light diffusion. Of course, the hallmark Tudor Rose signed crown also makes an appearance, slightly oversized and as waterproof as always.
Proudly displayed by the sapphire caseback, the in-house caliber MT5400 is ticking tranquilly away.

Our offering is brand new (never worn condition), comes in a full set of boxes and papers, and is outfitted with its OEM Taupe leather strap with white stitching.

Covered by manufacturers international warranty (started in 05.2021).

All our watches undergo a thorough inspection and are sold in fully-authentic condition. Naturally, this includes all external and internal components. They are also serviced where needed and tested for waterproofness where it applies.

Vintage watches are checked against our database of original examples to ensure no components have been replaced or tampered with over the years, and they are serviced using strictly OEM parts. It’s no secret that most vintage watches sold online are re-dialed, overpolished, or feature movement parts with questionable origins, and those are all practices we sincerely abhor.

You can rest assured that any exceptions to the above will be disclosed in the respective timepiece’s descriptive text.

ChronoTimepieces’s service including, without limitation, our website, all information, content and any features made available to you through our Site are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. Our directors, employees, agents, partners and content providers do not warrant that the service will be secure or available at any particular time or location.
Unless agreed otherwise in an individual case, ChronoTimepieces does not give any guarantees as to the characteristics of the goods which go beyond the statutory warranty rights or any other warranties.

  • All our watches come with a limited warranty of 1 year, starting on the date of purchase. The cover of said warranty is limited to the function, continuous operation and fair timekeeping and it does not cover misuse, neglect, abuse, water damage or any other form of wearer-inflicted damage.
  • Some used watches might still be covered by leftover Manufacturer warranty valid to any AD (Authorized Dealer) – please check the specific description of the watch you are buying.
  • Some new watches might be covered by Manufacturer warranty, usually activated upon purchase and valid to any AD (Authorized Dealer) – please check the specific description of the watch you are buying.
  • For vintage watches (we consider any watch older than 20 years vintage) time keeping is guaranteed within reasonable limits – ±20 sec/day, unless explicitly stated otherwise in the item’s description.
