Zodiac
The Zodiac brand was founded in 1882 by Ariste Calame in Le Locle, Switzerland. Calame was a skilled watchmaker who focused on creating high-quality, reliable timepieces. In the early 20th century, Zodiac began producing wristwatches, which became popular among soldiers during World War II. Later, in the 1950s and 1960s, Zodiac became known for its stylish, sporty watches, particularly its Sea Wolf diving watch, which was marketed towards a younger, more active audience. In the 1970s, Zodiac was acquired by the Fossil Group, and it continues to produce a range of stylish and functional watches to this very day.
