This vintage Oris Alarm is dated to mid-late 80s, when Oris like everyone else were making only quartz watches. Interesting story here – those years they appointed a new CEO and he wanted a change. To do that he decided to reintroduce the mechanical movements to the Oris line and bought ~1600 NOS AS1930 alarm movements and build this very cool looking 50s inspired piece. This particular watch has been professionally serviced, cleaned and oiled and is ticking strong. It is in mint condition – looks perfect to the naked eye, micro scratches only visible in macroshots. Branded two piece screwed-down caseback, original crowns and everything, lumed Arabic numerals and hands – check the provided lume shot. The Alarm function is awesome and still works like the day it came out of the manufacture – very loud and very crisp. Comes on a new black Pilot style genuine Leather strap.
Please note, that in the macroshots everything looks a lot bigger and almost none of the imperfections (if any) are visible with naked eye in real life. Also keep in mind that those are vintage watches and time keeping is not guaranteed – our pieces are professionally serviced, but there might be some wear on the movements.
