This IWC Pilot’s Watch Chronograph is a special creation that marks the brand’s partnership with AMG, the performance and sports car brand of Mercedes-Benz. This timepiece is a pioneer in its own right, being the first 43 mm Pilot’s Chronograph, featuring the IWC-manufactured 69385 calibre, and the first with a case made of light and scratch-resistant Grade 5 Titanium. The later is inspired by AMG’s signature Selenite Grey Magno paint finish and gives the watch its matte grey appearance.
The dial, made from carbon fibres processed on weaving machines matches perfectly the titanium case, while the silvery sub-dials stand out clearly against the background, creating an ensemble that reminds the instruments of a sport car.
At the heart of this timepiece is the IWC caliber 69385, an automatic movement fully developed, produced, and assembled by IWC, whose chronograph function is controlled by a column wheel, enabling stop time measurements of up to 12 hours and guarantees 46 hours of power reserve.
The strap, made from black embossed calf leather with contrast stitching, fastens with a titanium fold clasp for secure wear.
