Rolex Submariner Date Gold & Steel ref. 16613 “The Bluesy” – 2002, Box & Papers, Never polished

Neither Rolex nor its flagship, the Submariner, need much in the way of introductions. After all, the Sub singlehandedly set the standard for what we refer to as a dive watch today, and that’s by no means a small feat. What’s more, few timepieces are as recognizable or as sought-after as it is, and even fewer are as dazzling as the version on offer here.
The ref. 16613’s case and bracelet masterfully blend the warm glow of gold with the cool luster of stainless steel, resulting in a timepiece that is simultaneously very versatile and unbelievably hypnotic. Affectionately nicknamed the Bluesy, the watch features a dark-azure aluminum bezel insert surrounding a royal-blue dial adorned with luminous hands and indices. Since the latter are also fashioned out of gold, they shine brightly against their oceanic backdrop, with their symmetry tastefully disrupted by the iconic 3 o’clock date display.
Inside, behind the solid caseback, the time-proven caliber 3135 is confidently ticking away.
Our offering is in very good condition – shows normal wear in form of hairpins here and there, but the watch has never been polished. Comes with its original box, tag and the warranty paper. Ticking per specs.

The watch is covered by 1 year of limited warranty from ChronoTimepieces.
