Throughout the 1960s and 70s, OMEGA released quite a few versions of its emblematic Genève model. These came in all manner of shapes, colors, and configurations, establishing the Genève as the essential dressy sports watch of its era. The ref. 135.041 is among the purest iterations of this historic timepiece, and as such, it allows one to experience the old-timey charm of the Swiss manufacturer in its full splendor.
The specific example on offer here dates to the end of the 60s – 1969 according to its serial number and is in superb condition, which in itself makes it quite rare. Given how commonly produced this watch was, it’s remarkable how difficult it is to find an original example in good condition or, as a matter of fact, even a mediocre one that hasn’t been redialed or polished beyond recognition. That’s why we’re particularly proud of our latest offering: both its tonneau case and its silver sunray dial are well-preserved and authentic, and the manually-wound caliber 601 within is ticking accurately after having undergone thorough servicing and testing at the hands of our very own in-house watchmaker.
The watch comes outfitted with a high-quality brown leather strap.
Covered by a limited warranty of 1 year, starting on the date of purchase.
