Audemars Piguet Royal Oak Offshore Chronograph 44 ref. 26400AU.OO.A002CA.01 Carbon & Ceramic – I-Serial, Superb condition

A worthy successor to the legacy of its older Royal Oak brother, the Offshore Chronograph is an experience that is hard to put into words – and that’s a good thing. Much like its predecessor, the model represents an intense yearning for the future, but it nevertheless looks to the past, to the rich history it is part of, with the highest respect.
Тhis ref. 26400AU.OO.A002CA.01 Royal Oak was one of the first watches to be fashioned almost entirely out of forged carbon – which, coincidently, makes its 44 mm case surprisingly light – and is topped by an octagonal ceramic bezel. The latter is hairline finished and therefore contrasts the polished beveled edges of the case, which, of course, follows the familiar Royal Oak architecture, with the addition of palpable titanium guards for the pushers and the steel-tipped crown. The dial is framed by a raised black inner bezel flange with a tachymetric scale and showcases the iconic Méga Tapisserie pattern embellished with a fine circular guilloché texture, which serves as the backdrop for a set of luminous white gold indices and sword hands. The red-tipped chrono hand, together with those of the 12-hour and 30-minute subdials, adds a touch of color to the design, tying it together perfectly.
Inside, proudly displayed by the sapphire screw-down caseback, the remarkable 59-jewel in-house caliber 3126/3840 is calmy ticking away.
Our offering is in superb condition, comes with its original box, and is outfitted with its OEM rubber strap.
