No, those aren’t engines, even though that’s what they look like at first.
They are tanks that hold two viscous liquids – a blue one and a clear one. By flowing together without mixing, they indicate the time, encircling a dial whose architecture – coupled with the crystal dome that covers it – allows it to be viewed from the sides.
The H1.0 borrows heavily from automobile design, emulating the aesthetic of a luxurious supercar, all the while employing only the best of traditional watchmaking combined with a complication that is entirely unique in the history of horology. That, together with the fine craftsmanship employed by HYT’s master watchmakers, is what qualifies this timepiece as a fully-fledged member of the Haute horology family.
Inside, proudly displayed by both the exhibition caseback and the semi-skeletonized dial, a manually-wound in-house caliber fused with a patented micro-fluidic module is ticking away, boasting a power reserve of 65 hours. Best of all, since HYT was recently revived out of bankruptcy, the movement has once again become fully serviceable.
Our offering is brand new, comes in a full set of boxes and papers, and is outfitted with its OEM blue strap.
Covered by a limited warranty of 1 year.
