This isn’t your typical Breitling, but that’s hardly surprising since Bentley isn’t your typical car. Of course, some things never change – like Breitling’s devotion to fine craftsmanship and exciting aesthetics – but the design of “The Flying B” Jump Hour is entirely novel. From crown to caseback, it’s strongly reminiscent of an exotic car, and its many details give it an air of luxury that rivals that of the eponymous machine it draws inspiration from. The dial incorporates a dashboard-like layout surrounded by a beautiful Guilloché texture, the case is sleek and sharp, and the bracelet makes for a comfortable fit and an empowering wear. Inside, behind the thematically engraved caseback, the Breitling caliber 28B is ticking resolutely away.
