Founded in 1860 by Louis-Ulysse Chopard in Sonvilier, Switzerland, Chopard is best known for its high-end watches and masterfully crafted jewelry. The brand’s modern collections somewhat blur the line between the two, however, resulting in an array of novel and exciting timepieces. The Chopard Imperiale on offer here is the perfect example.
It comes outfitted with an 18K Rose Gold and steel case with an amethyst set in the crown, topped with a diamond-set bezel. The beautiful dial features applied Roman numeral indices as well as pointed stick ones. Much like the steel bracelet’s center-links, the hour indices and hands are fashioned out of Rose Gold. The central minute track provides excellent legibility and frames the beautiful texture at the dial’s center.
