Longines Saint-Imier Chronograph Rose Gold & Steel ref. L2.752.5.52.7 – 2018, Full set

Founded all the way back in 1832, Longines is a brand of rich heritage, which, admittedly, has had its ups and downs. During its diverse history, the company has had the honor of being mentioned alongside some of the greatest watch manufacturers to have ever existed, as well as the misfortune of scraping the barrel shoulder-to-shoulder with some of the least consequential. The turbulent, ever-evolving economic environment of the 20th century forced Longines to adapt, which the brand did by tirelessly reinventing its image and switching-up its target markets. As you can imagine, this hasn’t done wonders for Longines’ reputation, despite ultimately being a good thing. As the watch on offer here will testify, the brand’s amazing craftsmanship has endured throughout its many transformations and is consistent across all of its collections – luxurious or affordable. The Saint-Imier Chronograph is an homage to Longines’ hometown of St-Imier, Switzerland, where the brand was founded over 200 years ago. It comes equipped with a well-built stainless steel case and is adorned with a golden bezel, pushers and crown, and bracelet center links. A quick examination of the watch reveals that every detail has been crafted with an attentiveness typically only reserved for more exclusive pieces. The black dial, whose design is wonderfully reminiscent of the classic chronographs of old, serves as a great backdrop for the crisp font, and the golden indices and hands enhance the watch’s warm amber glow. Having been handled the same attention as the rest of the elements, the bracelet feels comfortable on the wrist and ties into the overall design wonderfully. The Saint-Imier Chronograph is powered by the caliber L688.2 – a finely-decorated automatic movement based on the ETA caliber A08.L01. Our offering is in great condition – shows some normal wear, but has never been polished so that is up to the new owner. Ticking per specs. Comes in a full set of boxes and papers.

The watch is covered by 1 year of limited warranty, starting on the date of purchase.
