Founded in 1887 in La Chaux de Fonds, Eberhard & Co. is one of the few independent brands capable of maintaining an enduring position alongside the most respected Swiss manufacturers. 130 years is a long time – even by watchmaking standards – and Eberhard & Co. has been wise enough to use this time to develop a distinct design language, an excellent production system, and a knack for innovation. What’s more, when the quality-to-price ratio is concerned, not many brands come even remotely close to what the watch on offer here – or any of the brand’s other models – can provide.
The Champion V Timeonly ref. 41031.3 is the stuff of purists’ dreams. It comes equipped with a classic-looking, mostly-polished steel case, a signed screw-down crown, and a mat-blue fixed steel bezel. The blue sunburst dial is furnished with applied indices, which complement the tapered hands and play a central role in the distinct vintage vibe the watch gives off; the date window at 3 o’clock tastefully disrupts the dial’s symmetry. The red seconds hand contrasts the blue dial and bezel, thus infusing the piece with a hint of sportiness, which the inner 60-minute bezel further amplifies. Every detail is perfect, every angle – knife-edge sharp, and the overall quality of the build is truly astounding. Behind the signed caseback, a modified SW 200-1 ticks confidently away. Our offering is brand new and comes in full set with box and papers.
The watch is covered by 1 year of limited warranty, starting on the date of purchase.
