Description

Awesome LeCoultre 10k Gold filled watch from the late 40s – early 50s. It has the inhouse cal. 480 CW movement, that was later used in Jaeger-LeCoultre. It has been professionally serviced – cleaned and oiled and it’s keeping good time. The case has the art deco inspired spider lugs, never polished and looking super good. The back of the case is signed – Cased and Timed in USA by LeCoultre, Wadsworth, 10k Gold filled. The dial has some wear, but the marks and the patina suit this watch nicely – finished in ivory, applied gold batons and black Arabic numerals marking the 3,6,9 and 12 hours – all looking good. The hands are in good shape and the crystal is perfect. Original crown and everything. It comes on a vintage stretch 10k Gold plated bracelet – again cleaned and looking good.
