Roger Dubuis Excalibur Double Tourbillon Retrograde ref. EX45 01 9 N1.67A – Mother of Pearl dial, Serviced, Full Set

The almighty Excalibur Double Tourbillon by Roger Dubuis – ref. EX45 01 9 N1.67A – is a pure-blooded horological masterpiece through and through. As the name would suggest, it is a highly complex timing machine with two Flying Tourbillon complications and a Retrograde display allocated to the minutes. It’s powered by the Roger Dubuis caliber RD01, which has been finished with the proficiency of the finest artisans working in watchmaking today, having had every single one of its components built entirely inhouse. The case measures 46.5mm by 16.5mm and has an empowering weight to it. The finishing is easily on par with even the most impressive achievements of haute horology. On the back there are three see-through windows – two for admiring the tourbillon cages and one on top for the power reserve display. The crown features a beautiful guard that encapsulates it and gives it the appearance of size. To access the crown you just need to flip the crown guard up. The stunning Mother of Pearl dial proudly displays the two tourbillons, as well as the retrograde minute function, which counts the minutes from 0 to 60 and resets to 0 with a vigorous jump once it has reached 60. Comes on a crocodile leather band with a stainless steel deployment buckle. It is a limited timepiece – ours is Nº 140 out of 280 pieces made in total. MSRP of the watch was ~175 000 €. The condition of the watch is superb, bordering on mint. It was serviced by atellier Grande Complications in 02.2020 and is ticking per specs. In full set – all the boxes, papers and tags.
