Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Compressor Diving Chronograph GMT Navy Seals ref. Q178T677 – Full set

The watch is a very sturdy titanium Jaeger-LeCoultre Master Compressor Diving Chronograph GMT ref. Q178T677. Made in a limited edition of 1500 pieces in collaboration with the U.S. Navy SEALs – the elite diving unit of the American Army. It features a 44 mm case with scratch resistant anti-reflective sapphire crystal, JLCs Compressor style buttons/crowns that are secured and released by an easy half-twist and a black unidirectional ceramic bezel. The dial is black as well, with luminescent dart hour indices and luminous stencil-style white Arabic numeral markers at 6 and 12 o’clock. Very easy to read skeletonized black hands with luminous inserts including an arrow tip for the minute hand. The Master Compressor has some very interesting functionalities – a date aperture window between 4 and 5 o’clock, a chronograph, a GMT and an operating indicator that takes the form of a disc alternating white and black with white streaks as it rotates. The last one is inspired by the hometime/traveltime principle patented by Jaeger-LeCoultre. The second time zone is indicated by a skeletonised hand supplemented by a day/night indicator appearing in an aperture at 12 o’clock. The watch is resistant to 1000 meters and is powered by the inhouse JLC cal. 757 with a power reserve of 65 hours. Our offering is in very good condition – first purchased from an AD in 2010 and worn very carefully, with only a few minor hairpins to be found, mainly on the bracelets rubber. Ticking as per specs. Comes on the original black rubber bracelet with a triple folding Titanium deployment buckle, in full set – all boxes and papers are present.
