Pocket Daini Seikosha (Seiko) – WWII Imperial Air Force Military Chronograph

The watch is a very rare pocket chronograph made by Daini Seikosha for the Imperial Japanese Army Air Force. During the WWII years Hattori’s company was the official retailer of Longines for Japan and in 1942 even managed to get a licence to produce parts and modify their movements. From this comes the movement of this watch – a highly modified Longines 18.72 or even only based on the original design – the Seikosha 17 jewels one. Our offering is in superb condition for it’s age – a real military watch though. It has some nice patina, some dings and wear on the case and crystal (it is a glass one) – check the provided pictures. The watch has been professionally serviced, cleaned and oiled and is ticking strong. Covered by a limited warranty of 6 months, starting on the date of purchase.
