Tag Hauer Aquaracer Automatic 43 Green WAY201S.BA0927 Full set

The Aquaracer’s legacy traces back to 1982 when Jack Heuer introduced the Heuer 2000 – the last model launched under his stewardship. In later years, the collection adopted the Aquaracer designation as part of a shift away from the numerical nomenclature of the past, yet it maintained its reverence for Mr. Heuer’s vision. The watch presented here is a contemporary translation of that same vision.

The ref. WAY201S.BA0927 Aquaracer features an understated steel case topped by a traditional steel dive-watch bezel. The bright-green dial exudes restraint and balance, allowing the luminous indices and sword hands to take center stage. Meanwhile, the green tachymeter bezel surrounding the dial adds depth – a characteristic further magnified when the watch is submerged underwater, where it belongs. The very texture of the dial emphasizes this same felling of depth, mirroring the angular, dynamic architecture of the case.

Housing the Caliber 5 – tucked safely behind the old-timey diving helmet on the caseback – this timepiece includes a date display at the 3 o’clock position, tastefully disrupting the dial’s symmetry and nodding to the traditional aesthetics of its predecessors. Beyond its luxurious appeal, this Aquaracer boasts a water resistance of 300 meters.

Our offering is in superb condition, is accompanied by a full set of boxes and papers, and is outfitted with its OEM bracelet.
