Franck Muller, though a relative newcomer in the realm of Haute Horlogerie, stands proudly among the most successful brands. Established in 1991 by watchmaker Franck Muller and case maker Vartan Sirmakes, the brand embarked on a journey to specialize in watches that redefined historical complications with a modern twist. Their commitment to aesthetic excellence mirrored their dedication to technical innovation, resulting in designs as captivating as the intricacies that lay beneath their surface. Today, their Curvex case architecture is as emblematic as those of the Cartier Tank, the Reverso, and the Panerai Luminor.
Enter the Vanguard, a watch that not only adheres to the Curvex architecture but elevates Franck Muller’s work to new heights. The black DLC-coated case, adorned with a gold-signed crown and a gold-filled notch along its length, harmonizes seamlessly with the captivating dial it cradles. The latter features a vertically-brushed texture and is adorned with a mesmerizing tapestry of bold geometry, gold accents, and highly-legible indices and markers with a touch of red that perfectly complements the black-on-black-on-black colorway. The symmetry of the dial is maintained through the date window’s placement at 6 o’clock.
Powering this masterpiece is the in-house caliber FM 7000, elegantly showcased through the transparent caseback.
Our offering is in excellent condition, with only a minor scratch in the coating at 5 o’clock. It comes complete with a full set of boxes and papers, accompanied by its original rubberized leather strap.
