Nevertheless, the Astron left an indelible mark, marking the dawn of a new era in watchmaking.

Over the years, the Astron has steadfastly kept pace with technological advancements, pioneering new cutting-edge technologies and refining existing ones. The high-tech caliber 3X stands out among them with an impressive accuracy of +/- 15 seconds per month. However, the movement is only half of the compelling narrative.

The SSJ003J1 is encased in a brushed stainless steel case with an aggressive design, fortified by Seiko’s Super-Hard coating for both aesthetics and durability. A ceramic bezel gracefully surrounds the scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, further enhanced by Seiko’s Super-Clear coating. The dial is presented in an alluring deep blue, exuding class by way of simplicity. This exceptional timepiece is water-resistant up to 100 meters and offers magnetic resistance up to 4,800 A/m.
