It was with its maritime legacy in mind that Omega launched its Planet Ocean line in 2005. Not only does the watch on offer here pay homage to Omega’s dive watch heritage, but it confidently builds upon it.
The Planet Ocean 600M Chrono comes equipped with a familiar-looking stainless steel case, whose aggressive design is emphasized by a mix of fine hairlines and smooth, mirror-like surfaces. The black ceramic dial features a small seconds counter and a date window, as well as 60-minute and 12-hour counters at the 9 and 3 o’clock positions. It also features an orange tipped chronograph hand, orange right subdial and orange dial scripts. Thanks to its helium escape valve and screw-down crown and caseback, the 600M Orange is water-resistant up to 600 meters (2000 feet).
