Ever since it made its debut at Basellworld 2012, the Black Bay has remained one of the most popular dive watches on the market, and it’s not difficult to see why. It is an excellent all-rounder backed by an impressive heritage that traces its roots to non-other than Rolex. At the same time, it comes in a more accessible price range, which makes it an excellent gateway to the world of luxury watches.
The ref. M79230B-0008 features a versatile 41 mm steel case topped by a matt blue anodised aluminium bezel that complements the dial. The latter is matte black and adorned with a golden minute track and script as well as distinct luminescent indices and snowflake hands. The finishing of the case and three-link Oyster-style bracelet is a combination of brushed and polished surfaces separated by beveled edges, which almost rival Rolex in terms of light diffusion. But you already know all that. What you might not know is that the watch is powered by the in-house caliber MT5602 – a masterfully-crafted automatic movement that boasts a power reserve of 70 hours.
Our offering is in excellent condition – shows minimal wear in form of some marks from strap change and hairpins on left side of the watch. Comes in a full set of boxes and papers.
