Rado HyperChrome Captain Cook Titanium 45 ref. R32501206 – Travel box & Papers, Very fresh

Founded in 1917 under the name Schlup and Co, RADO didn’t really take off until the 1950s when it released its infamous Golden Horse line, which exploded its popularity across Europe and Asia. Today, RADO is part of the SWATCH conglomerate, which has its positives – like the fact that they have access to high-quality ETA movements – but means they don’t get marketed too well because the folks over at SWATCH are too busy remaking Longines classics and selling Tissot reissues to teenagers. Those in the know, however, don’t need a billboard to tell them what they are already well aware of – that RADO is one of the best modern brands out there! The watch on offer here, we hope, is all the proof you’ll ever need.

The HyperChrome Captain Cook is a thoroughly contemporary timepiece. From its size – 45 mm – to the material it’s fashioned from – titanium – Rado has made absolutely no compromise! Despite following the well-established formula, the HyperChrome does things its own way, featuring a ceramic bezel that slopes inward and showcasing a completely singular case geometry. The dial is rather minimalist and easily legible, and the indices and hands that adorn it are fittingly (yet not overly) aggressive. The design of the hands is also quite original, which is a rare thing in today’s watches.
Inside, behind the tastefully engraved caseback, the faithful ЕТА Caliber C07.611 is ticking confidently away.

Our offering is in superb condition, comes with a transport box and its original papers, and is outfitted with its OEM textile strap.

Covered by manufacturers international warranty (started in 08.2021).
