Zenith Defy Classic 41 Blue Ceramic Skeleton ref. 49.9003.670/51.R793 – Box and Papers, Superb/Mint condition

Introduced at the end of the 1960s, the Zenith Defy was designed by none other than the legendary Gerald Genta. In addition to its innovative case shape – courtesy of Genta’s signature magic – the Defy boasted features such as shock and water resistance, inspiring the nickname The Safe Of Time. The model’s unique aesthetic resonated with the changing tastes of the free-spirited 1970s, so it proved exceptionally marketable in subsequent years. In 2017, the Defy collection was revived to critical acclaim and it has been steadily growing in popularity since. The watch on offer here – the Defy Classic Blue Ceramic – dates to 2020 and represents what the Defy has represented since its conception – the future of watchmaking.
The 41 mm faceted tonneau-shaped case, although not designed by Genta, feels like something he easily could have thought up. Fashioned out of blue ceramic, it emphasizes the watch’s aggressive lines and futuristic aura. The skeletonized dial exposes the emblematic cal. Elite 670SK and, together with the integrated rubber strap, gives off an impression of robustness and versatility. Since the strap tapers down from the lugs towards the buckle, it makes the watch appear larger on the wrist than it is in actuality; it also makes for a very comfortable wearing experience.
Our offering is in near mint condition – shows virtually no wear (its ceramic) and comes with original boxes, the warranty card & the Quick-Step Guide.

Covered by a limited warranty of 1 year.
