About nine years before unveiling the first-ever automatic chronograph, Zenith began producing the watch you see here – the ref. A273. The model can best be described as a “classic watch”, and it hardly needs a description more elaborate than this.
The silver dial is clean and straightforward and shows some patina here and there – representative of the character it has accrued over the years – yet is nevertheless remarkably well-preserved. It features blued-steel hands and black-lined indexes.
The lugs remain knife-edge sharp, while the case displays no signs of polishing and minimal overall scratching. The caseback, however, does come with some scratches. Underneath, the famed manual-winding cal. 146 HP is confidently ticking away, having been serviced by our in-house watchmaker in 10.2021.
The cherry on top – the watch comes outfitted with an original Zenith branded NSA bracelet. Our offering dates to 1970 by its serial number.
Covered by a limited warranty of 1 year, starting on the date of purchase.
