Description
This Seiko Chronograph 6139-7100 is dated to the 70s. It has the inhouse cal. 6139 automatic movement in it – professionally serviced – cleaned, oiled and ticking strong. Interesting fact – Seiko 6139 is the first automatic chronograph watch movement to be developed. The watch is in super good condition, yet still it’s a worn piece, but everything on it is looking and working good – all the chronograph functions work perfectly – starts, stops, resets and it ticks as it should. Comes on the original Seiko branded bracelet. The case is with a very distinguishable shape – thus it’s got the nickname – Helmet/Stormtrooper. The Dial is white with some lume, that is now faded, date and weekday on 3 o’clock. Hands have some wear, but are all original and never relumed. The crystal is the original Seiko Hardlex, with some wear on the edges. The case has never been polished and it is a good idea to keep it like it is – there are some scratches, but nothing deep.
