Complications/Functions |
If there’s one complication that remains elusive even after centuries of watchmaking progress, it has to be the mechanical alarm. Few brands have even dared attempt incorporating it into their timepieces, but those that have done so successfully often hold a special place in enthusiasts’ hearts. The JLC Memovox, the Vulcain Cricket, the Breguet Marine Alarme, and last but definitely not least, the Seiko Bell-Matic – they all have entire chapters dedicated to them in the horological history books.
The watch on offer here, the ref. 4006-7000 Bell-Matic, dates to the 1968 and is in very good condition. The beautiful silver sunray dial has accrued a bit of patina, which does little to spoil its charm, the case has held on to most of its original finishing, and the movement within – the 17-jewel caliber 4006 – is in perfect working order and is keeping good time after having just been serviced by our very own in-house watchmaker.
The watch comes outfitted with its original three-link bracelet.
Covered by a limited warranty of 6 months.
