Aesthetically, the Quadrato very much subscribes to modernist design, opting for a large, satin-brushed case with stepped lugs topped by a polished bezel, whose rounded design contrasts the angular geometry surrounding it. The dial follows an equally modernist layout, incorporating a small seconds subdial at 6, a Home Time indicator at 9, and a date aperture at 2. As it might have crossed your mind, the dial’s use of black and blue are meant to evoke the oceanic depths, signifying the brand’s respect for its nautical heritage.
The Ulysee Nardin Quadrato Dual Time is powered by the impressive caliber UN-24 – a 23-jewel automatic movement based on the ETA2892-A2 that operates at 28,800 vph and boasts a power reserve of 42 hours.
