Seiko Chronograph ref. 6138-0011 UFO/Yachtman – 1970s, Serviced

The watch is a highly collectable Seiko from the 70s – the ref. 6138-0011 nicknamed UFO/YACHTMAN. It is one of the iconic models that came as the pioneers on the automatic chronograph scene. The nickname UFO comes from the unusual shape and size of the case – it measures 44 mm in diameter and 47.2 mm lug-to-lug and sure enough looks like a flying saucer. The movement inside is the Seiko cal. 6138 – automatic chronograph with a column wheel and vertical clutch with up and down subdials. Our offering is in very good shape – shows some normal wear on the case, has a few dots on the bezel as well, but has been professionally serviced in 01.2020 – ticking strong and all the functionalities work correctly. Comes on a brown leather pilot strap.
