The watch is one of the Rolex model that has easily made it way to the passionate collectors since its introduction in 1992 – the Yacht-Master 40 Rolesium ref. 16622. Back then it the first all-new model from the brand since the Daytona in 1964. The timepiece was designed for adventurers and sportsmen, like the topside equivalent of the diver’s Submariner. The Yacht-Master updates the sports watch by featuring a bi-directional bezel, white gold applied hour markers and the famous ‘Mercedes’ hand for the hour. A sandblasted bezel, which bears glossed numerals, gives the Yacht-Master a finish that is unique to the line. The platinum dial and the red seconds hand give the timepiece colour without making the watch to shavy. The watch features the well-known Rolex cal. 3135 movement and it gives the timepiece a 48 h power reserve. Our offering is in superb condition – has been serviced and polished in late 2018 and has been worn a couple of times since then – only a few hairpins are present, nothing deep or worrying, so it is looking and ticking sharp.
