Backed by more than a hundred years of history, Rolex is easily the most recognizable and celebrated watch manufacturer in the world. What’s more, its benchmark – the timeless Submariner – is one of, if not the most innovative and emblematic design in horology. Introduced in 1953, it was the first diver’s wristwatch waterproof to a depth of 100 meters (330 feet). As any serious collector would confirm, the model’s historical significance and overall cultural impact couldn’t possibly be overstated.
The ref. 126610LN is one of the eight new Submariner variants unveiled in 2020. While it looks almost identical to its predecessor, it features a few subtle changes that set it apart. And, when it comes to the Submariner, even the smallest of changes can prove to be extremely important. The 126610LN’s case has grown a full millimeter larger, measuring at 41 mm in diameter, as has the three-link Oyster bracelet, which now measures 21 mm between the lugs and features a more tapered design. The most significant change, however, is the inclusion of the new-generation Rolex calibre 3235, which boasts a power reserve of 70 hours, thanks to its patented Chronergy escapement.
Our offering is in very good condition – just polished per OEM specs so it now looks sharp as new. Comes in its original box but – somewhat regrettably – without any papers. Ticking per specs.
