Backed by more than a hundred years of history, Rolex is easily the most recognizable and celebrated watch manufacturer in the world. What’s more, its benchmark – the timeless Submariner – is one of, if not the most innovative and emblematic design in horology. Introduced in 1953, it was the first divers’ wristwatch waterproof to a depth of 100 meters (330 feet). As any serious collector would confirm, the model’s historical significance and overall cultural impact couldn’t possibly be overstated.
The watch on offer here – the ref. 114060 – is an upgraded version of the Rolex Submariner No-Date 14060. Just like the 14060, the ref. 114060 is waterproof up to 300 meters (1000 feet), but, unlike it, it’s fitted with the newer calibre 3130 – a self-winding certified superlative chronometer movement, which has 31 jewels and boasts a power reserve of 48 hours. One of the mechanism’s key characteristics is the no-date feature, which makes the dial simpler and more symmetrical. It also means that the ref. 114060 is the closest thing you can get to the original Submariner without going the vintage route.
Our offering is in superb condition – just polished per OEM specs, it is equipped with its original Oyster bracelet, and comes in a full set of boxes and papers. Ticking perfectly.
Covered by a limited warranty of 1 year, starting on the date of purchase.
