The Rolex Sea-Dweller was introduced in 1967 as a direct response to the needs of saturation divers. Carrying the reference 116600, the 2014 Sea-Dweller closely follows the design language of past iterations of this emblematic model. It features a helium-escape valve, which expels the helium gas that can seep into the case during prolonged deep dives. Rolex developed the watch together with the US Navy and French Comex divers, thus creating a true dive watch legend. It sports a 40mm case in 904L steel, a date display with no magnifier and 4000ft (1220M) of water resistance. Thanks to its Cerachrom bezel and Gildelock clasp, the watch fits right in with the brand’s contemporary line-up. The Rolex Sea-Dweller 116600 is powered by the cal. 3135 – a certified superlative chronometer self-winding movement. Our offering is in superb condition with only a few hairpins to be found. It is equipped with its original Oyster bracelet with the diving extension present and comes in with the original box, booklet and tag. Ticking perfectly.
