Created in 1945, the Datejust was the first self-winding waterproof chronometer wristwatch to display the date at 3 o’clock. Its timeless aesthetic has since had an enormous cultural impact and, along with its revolutionary features, has elevated it to the status of a horological icon. To put it simply, the Datejust is the seminal classic watch.
The example on offer here – ref. 16233 – is a more contemporary interpretation of the time-tested classic. It comes equipped with an elegant 36 mm Rolesor case, which expertly combines the versatility of Oystersteel and the luster of 18k Yellow Gold.
The dial is made of white ceramic and is adorned with applied golden Arabic numeral indices, which complement the warm glow of the fluted bezel, crown, and bracelet center links. The white ceramic, on the other hand, underlines the brightness of the Oystersteel case. The ref. 16233 is powered by the renowned caliber 3235 – a certified superlative chronometer. Our offering is in amazing condition, equipped with its original 18k Yellow Gold and Oystersteel Jubilee bracelet and comes in a very full set of boxes and papers. Ticking per specs.
The watch is covered by 1 year of limited warranty, starting on the date of purchase.
